We always think it's cool when couples choose family members to be their best man and maid/matron of honor. It really says something for a couple to choose those people to stand with them as witnesses while they make their covenant to one another. We've had lots of weddings where sons, dads, brothers, and sisters will be in those various roles, but it's especially fun when the best man is the groom's brother and the maid of honor is the bride's sister. When it comes to our job of trying to tell a couple's story, nothing beats sibling toasts because they have usually known the bride and groom long before they even knew each other (and in our groom's case literally since before he was born!). As you watch Ben and Kristin's video, you may feel like you have known them much longer than the five minutes it takes to watch it. We just couldn't pass up those great stories.
