Brockington Hall wedding

/ Savannah, GA

We had so much fun shooting Mike and Erica’s wedding! Their day was filled with a few firsts for us. One of those firsts that stands out most in this video is that Erica decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids. Wedding days tend to follow similar schedules and routines and it can be easy to take certain elements for granted. Usually the bridesmaids are all gathered ’round while the bride is getting ready. Props to Erica for thinking outside the box because she actually created two special moments; the first one being the few minutes she was able to spend with just her mother as she helped Erica get ready.
Another first for us was the location. The ceremony and reception were both held at a the Brockington Hall wedding venue in downtown Savannah, GA. This big, historic house gave the whole day such a unique feeling. The set up especially worked well for the reception. The smaller rooms of the house, as opposed to one big event space/ball room, really created intimacy and made it feel like the party flowed from one room into another.
Congrats to Mike and Erica!

LOVE. This is SO good! The bridesmaid’s speech at the beginning made me all misty! And I love the transition from him carrying her down the sidewalk to the cake topper! So great! Congrats to a lovely couple!

This is the wedding of my niece. I had to miss the wedding due to a family emergency. I was devastated that I could not be there, but seeing this video really helped to picture myself part of the celebration. This isn’t just a wedding video. It’s a piece of art. Thank you so much for your beautiful work!

Erica is my first grandchild and to be able to be at her wedding was truly special for me and my wife, Mary. It was the first time that I had the chance to meet Mike and in that little bit of time I realized why Erica is in love with him! I must say that she was absolutely beautiful on her wedding day. My special moment to remember was her dancing with her Father, my oldest son (#1) and namesake. She was so happy and he was so proud. And Kathy, Erica’s mother also, as always, looked very beautiful that day. And Erin, Erica’s Sister gave the toast to the happy couple. It was the first time in a long time that I got to be with my children and all of my grandchildren. Special day for Erica and Mike and a special day for me. How can you not enjoy being around your children and grandchildren on such a special day? I will never forget it!!
