Jekyll Island has become the most popular destination wedding location for us outside of Savannah, GA. When you travel to the secluded Island it's not hard to see why that's true. However, while we've had several weddings along its beautiful beaches we've never had the opportunity to film a Jekyll Island Club wedding. The Jekyll Island Club was the most exclusive club in America around the turn of the century. Names like J.P. Morgan, Vanderbilt and Macy were some of its original members.
Mary & Tim did an amazing job planning and designing an awesome ceremony and reception that fit the style of this spectacular location. This video is a great example of how nice a Jekyll Island Club wedding can be. It's hard not to get amazing wedding footage with every shot you take. The club has several cottages on the grounds that were originally built for those wealthy families mentioned earlier. The largest and most lavish of these cottages is the Crane Cottage which is where the majority of our filming took place. Wedding videography isn't always the easiest job at a wedding, but when you have things like a beautiful couple in an Italian renaissance cottage at an exclusive club under majestic live oaks alongside a winding river around a secluded island it makes our jobs a whole lot easier.
