Bethesda Chapel and the Telfair Museum
Savannah, GA
We had such a blast shooting Justin and Michelle's wedding. These two sweethearts have the kind of love and genuine friendship that is just so photogenic. Their day started in a historic, downtown Savannah house. When it came time to do the first look, we walked around the corner to Pulaski Square. Now, there are a ton of beautiful squares in Savannah, but for our money Pulaski Square is one of the most underrated. For one thing, it's more on the outskirts of downtown so there is usually less foot traffic. Also, it's one of the biggest squares. All that depth allows you see more of the giant, live oak trees in the background, which in turn makes your subject in the foreground (namely, a gorgeous couple) really pop. The ceremony took place at the Whitefield Chapel on the beautiful grounds at Bethesda. You simply can't beat a tiny chapel with giant windows for the sunlight to pour through. That evening trollies took all the guests back downtown to the Telfair Museum to dance the night away.
Justin and Michelle, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day. You guys are such a sweet couple and we hope enjoy this short film for many years to come!
