Well this one is pretty special. We care deeply about all of our customers, and by the time we're done with most of our videos, the featured couples almost feel like old friends. However, the Forbys are actually old friends. And it's not just that we have been friends for a long time, but they are truly some of our closest in Savannah. Like, Bert was in the wedding. Talk about mixing business and pleasure. Kidding aside, it really never felt like we were working on the day of. We were both so happy to be celebrating this relationship that we had watched from its inception; from friendship to dating to the proposal and finally the wedding day. It was truly a pleasure to not just be vendors documenting everything as it happened, but to be witnesses to the covenant between our friends.
Jonathan and Alex were married at the Wesley Gardens in Savannah overlooking the famous Moon River. For most of the morning it looked like we were in for one of those famous, late-afternoon downpours that are so common in the late summer in Savannah, but the rain held off long enough for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The flowers, dresses, suits, and decorations all had a simple-but-elegant look to them that fits this couple so well.
